A model V8 is a quite a large project to undertake.

i heard about a challenger v8 i would like more information on it.
  3.
The challenger is a kit that contains raw castings and plans for the internal parts.

i'm not sure $2000 will get you much of anything. I have a 4 cylinder project going that cost over $500 for materials alone. Castings, gears, bearings, and stock for making these engines is expensive.

    Good luck in your search.

i assuming a casting is what u pour melted metal into to make the engine then u have to machine it.
  4.
The castings are the un-machined engine parts.

thats why i wanted someone to build me one because im only 15 years old and i dont know anyone that could machine the parts the only thing i could do is put the engine together thats all i know how to do
  5.
Have been dealing with the state of a friend, ready to run Wall 4's are selling for around 4-5,000 usd, these are ready to run, well machined engines.Put them in an RC boat and run them, with proper maintenance they last years.
If you are looking for a V-8, the only ones I've seen are Challenger which can go for as little as 5,000 USD, but will need some parts which of course are all made to fit the specific engine. Or you can try for a Schillings V8 in ebay and figure out how to put all the pieces together, like glow plug ignition power source, carburetor, gas tank etc. These engines can go for 5 - 10,000 USD depending on how well kept and complete they are.
Trying to get someone to build you the engine may be the best deal but it will not be cheap, specially if you want to have some spare3 parts made at the same time.

    Best regards.

    Jaime.

When I was 15 I would have loved to build an engine.
When I was 14 I took a machine shop class in high school.
Why not spend the $2000 for some tools and start building.
It might take a few years to get what you want but you will learn a lot, have a skill, and a lifelong hobby.
