    Hello all
what is the best material for making a distributor and where can I get such a material?
If possible I prefer something transparent

You can make the distributor out off:
Delrin, opaque, good machining, great dielectric properties.
Turcite, opaque, very good machining, great dielectric properties, limited colors.

Or you can use cheap, clear acrylic, machines OK, needs polishing with metal polishing or similar compounds, do not use flame polishing, only draw back is that it is easily cracked by stress, so make sure you leave a nice tolerance between distributor cap and distributor body, if you make it a tight fit, it will crack.

A while back there was a discussion about distributors and caps. Try using the SEARCH tab, type in the word, click the COMMENTS button and search. There is a search for the old message board as well.
