    Jay, any tips on down loading the flik, the link work but how do you find your file for down loading?????

    I allso had truble! I found a link at the bottom and clicked on it , downloaded what I thought was the clip but when I clicked to run it something else started downloading and was going to take 23 minuts and I have highspeed internet so I clicked cancel!
    How about posting it on YouTube?

    I tried to down load a copy but I needed to buy something.
    It is a difficult site to use and the video is a big file 55MB, it probably took several minutes minutes.
    Jay send me a copy and I will post it.
    By the way what cools your engine?

    ya i know i am going to you tube it and try that route colloing it funny you said that david right now nada so far the temp has been 160 f per cylinder way under 200 f

    Thata site must be using a dileup connection! LOL I uasually download at 100KB/SEC.+ but this vid. is is only doing 35KB/SEC. at best! 52.3 MB should only a couple of minuts but it is taking about 15 from that site!

    thanks so much i tried u tube and the problem was the video was 3.35 min long of just a dril and some pops from cylinder one cylinder 2 had a spark problem on the tip of the plug it was some left over siclone rember i have no carb on this engine it is just a vacume style intake with a jar i made to pull in the vapor to the engine as soon as i get the engine going again i will post pics to david on what and how i am doing this i have tried corian for plugs and sorry dale the failed so bad so the next thing that works for this engine is some stuff i got at a hobby shop called plastruct its acrylic i am use a 3/16 o.d by 3/32 id tube the fire great but found out today this engine will tell you whne you have a bad plug you get a arch to the cylinder that is bad and sure it was rite cylinder one pluge was cracked and not fireing but i would like to thank dale for his help with the vw points the work great oh and dale may i have the part number agian i would like to get more of theses points ....jay oh and thanks to all of you guys who helped now the fine tunneing and real fun goes on

    Hello Jay.......The points are from Autozone, and the part number is RB18.......If they have any problems, just ask for points for a "74" VW engine....I tried to download the video, but I was getting a message of "could not find page "......Dale

    Very nice job Jay, I finally managed to see the video.
    Got a fwe questions. What is the diameter of the intake and exhust valve?
    Also what is the lobe separation angle between intake and exhaust?
    Is it 360 or 180 crank angle?

    the valves are 1/8 shatf and valve face size is 1/4 for intake and exuhast and the valve and seat angle is 45degress i used the westbury 15cc engine for that part well the plans say intake is at 235 degrees and exuhast is at 125 degrees also i e mail all my info to david to post so david can you please post the info i e mailed you thesr cams and angles will greatly help all of us and i think i am going to stick to these angles oh crank angle is 180 and here was the real trick figureing out the cam angles for the points well i got it its 75 degres and one more thing its realy a up date the engine has a bad distributer design all my falt the acrlic cap has minor cracks in it and rite now wont let the engine run so i am going to try to find polycarbinte thanks to all you guys for the help so far any info i have on this i am goint to try to use for a bigger bulid once the ar is running good i got a bigger engine i wish to bulid a inline 8 and i can hear the nut house calling me now ....jay

    i guesed on this one i think cylinder one is 6 degreges and cylider 2 is 5 degres not to sure ....jay

    coveting the engine to a butane gas i still have a bad exuhast vale seal on cylinder 2 that is the one close to the distributor
