I have been checking the message board and nothing is going on.........For myself, I have the 90 degree twin running , and like everyone else (??) I have been putting off doing the final fine points to complete the engine.......The last time that I had it out, I ran three tanks of fuel through the engine, and all that I had to do was wipe the engine off.....No repairs or anything........I still have to balance the carbs, and a few small things, then I can start a "NEW" design project (engine)........Nothing to talk about now, still if it goes, it will be differemt........Had anyone figured out what they want for Christmas yet ??? The way that TIME IS FLYING BY, IT WILL BE HERE SOON........DALE

Still plugging along on the V8. Work seems to be getting in the way lately. We were rained out today so I might get a few pieces made.

    Hi Dale,
You're right. I stop by once a day and it's been pretty dry. As far as myself, I finished up my 1/3 scale Borg Warner T-5 transmission. I have been building hit and miss engines, on my 4th, since Thanksgiving so I went back to the trans for a break.
I'm already thinking about my winter project. Like you said, "time is flying".

I was trying to get some info on Burns and Horner and saw where you live close by? I think you told someone that if they didn't answer the phone you would go knock on the door?? Do you know if they still exist?
    Thanks, Bruce
Sorry, but dire personal problems have got in my way, but I still call in a couple of times a day to see what is happening.

Hopefully, things have nearly sorted themselves out, so I should have something to show soon, I have just jumped from 10 minutes a day in the shop to about an hour.

I believe the address was in warren michigan. They may have moved to this location. No where near my house.

    Hope this helps!

I have been working on the Howell V2. I have it about 50% done. It is just too hot in Arkansas this summer to spend much time in the shop. I hope to have it completed by next spring. If there is anyone who has built the Howell V2 I would like to hear from them.
Hi All, Progress continues on the Hercules, but August and a plywood shed dont mix in FLA.! I have the 2nd crankshaft 3/4 of the way finished. The first one showed up with a huge ding on the rod journal after I was about done with it. Card board and tape protect the running surfaces of this one! I may take a break and build the wobbler engine from Model Engine Builder magazine as a sort of light thing to do then get back to the Herc.

Jeff Conner was busy and just shared a multi cylinder engine with a generator that can be found in the gallery.
I just finished a V8 build. Took almost 15 months. Sorry David but I have tried to send pix several times to 3 different addresses but they never made it to you.

I found all the missing e-mail.
It has been piling up at the web server since August 19, over 3,000 items. It looks like a lot of you have been busy.
It will take me a while to get through it. I will start with the oldest and work up to today.
Back in August I swithed ISP's and it got lost.
