Over the years several other sites have vanished or been off line for long periods. I try to keep this site stable and running. One of the reasons I prefer people to share photos stories, and video directly rather than use links is that they often end up broken later on. We have lots of space and lots of interested people looking

    Amen David!

This was the first site i found when seeking help for my projects. It is still the first one I check when I get on the computer. Also has the best photo gallery on the web for engines!!

Thanks to Dave for keeping the community together, this is the first website I check to see what is going on and who is working in what.
As for pictures, tons of excellent ideas have come out of them over the years..

Some other communities prefer use of technologies like Yahoo groups but this is way better and you keep control of the information posted, no cyber attacks like in Yahoo with spam emails to all members etc.

    Thanks David..

Hello all.......I believe that the FAME site has history starting back in 2002......There have been other sites that have come and gone in less time than that......The continued sucess of the FAME site is due to David, and to the many members that keep the site active......It is always nice to seethe new effort and engines that the members are turning out.....The FAME site is almost the first thing that I checkout when starting out a new day......I have met a "fine" group of fellows through the FAME site, and look forward to meeting more.......Thank you David..........Dale Detrich
