    I recently bought book “Model Petrol Engines” by Edgar Westbury. Nice book about design and various engines he designed over the years. The last chapter of plans for the Atom Minor Mar III 2 cycle engine.
    He talks about the Kiwi, 15cc single cylinder vertical. I like the compact crankcase, Anyone know about the engine?

    Thanks for the link, I read the pages and learned more about the Kiwi.
    I found reprint articles at Sulphur Springs Models but they have not responded.
    I looking for ideas for the Crest and shrinking the crankcase size.
    I would like to try some castings but just don’t have the space for a furnace, the bucket of sand or the stuff needed for lost wax work.
    I hope to find some time at the end of the month to see where the vertical 0.700 left off. I spend some time at lunch sketching the next project.

    I would love to see the little one lung engine complete and running. I would probibly take some time to build one. Cool design.

    David Just received plans for kiwi from Hemingway Kits they olso sell castings for same, a good web site.
