Hank Helmen sent out some photos and thoughts about Cabin Fever this last week.

The Cabin Fever had a good turnout and was well organized. Despite outside air temperatures in York of 5 degrees F on Saturday morning it was very nice and warm in the Toyota exhibition hall.

Exhibitors were allowed to enter one hour early to get set up. By 9AM there was a big crowd waiting to enter the show. Admission was up to $10.00 this year!

I met up with Reed Martin who drove up from Cabin John Maryland with his van full of Elmer Wall, and Brown engines as well as tether cars, airplanes and miniature spark plugs. Reed even brought his 1899 DeDion Bouton gas motor powered tricycle! There was supposed to be a model of this at the show but I did not see it.

I was very impressed with Doug Kelly''s model of the Snow horizontal pumping engine. It ran well and Doug was very busy answering questions all day. Wait until you see his 4 cylinder, opposed piston engine! He had it on display but it wasn't running yet. I took more videos than pictures this year, I will be loading them to my computer

The first picture is Jerry Howell who says "Hi" to Bob. The second picture is Doug Kelly at his table. Then there is Reed's tricycle. and next Gary Arnold's 8 cylinder four stroke. He must like to cut fins!

Here are some more pictures. I took all of my pictures on Saturday morning while everyone was setting up. The crowds were too thick to get pictures during the actual show.
