| Safety Engine building and operation is inherently dangerous. This web site is not responsible for any damage, injury or death caused by or to readers using posted information. Burning any fuel can create Carbon Monoxide, which is odorless and deadly, make sure you have excellent ventilation and a carbon monoxide detector when ever any fuel is burned.
The information is being provided for engine builders who are experienced in
the safe operation of all there tools and techniques used. It is also
expected that builder will plan for problems and component failures when
operating there engines. Should you find something on the site that you believe is
unsafe or dangerous please write immediately and that material will be
reviewed and removed or modified if it is unsafe. David

This is a not for profit association, to promote building of model engines of all kinds. These guidelines are subject to change with out notice. The information is provide at no cost and is to be used at the reader’s own risk. The founders, editors, and Webmaster of this site accept no responsibility or liability of any kind for content, personal or property safety relating to content, or infringement of content on other intellectual property. If a problem does arise, the only remedy will be removal of the offending material from the web site. The association will not tolerate messages that are slanderous, or are directed at one or more individual. This is a business like hobby site. Please post all messages in the correct message thread. Messages posted in the wrong thread may be moved but most likely will just be deleted. Please make sure you are in the correct topic before posting a message. As messages accumulate and have been available for over 180 days they may be deleted or edited based on the moderators determination about the value of the content and the amount of storage space available. Interesting constructive threads will be preserved, other may be deleted.

Guidelines for the Buy,. Sell, Trade, or Share A thread has been added to the message board for selling, buying ,trading and sharing engine relater materials, tools and supplies. Any transaction will be between the involved parties and FAME will have no responsibility of any kind. As web master, I reserve the right to delete items if required. FAME’s only involvement is providing message space. Any complaints will cause items to be removed or the entire area to be removed. If you have a problem write me David. This is an area only members can post items. No commercial postings will be allowed. Anyone may respond. Copyrighted materials (books or magazines) may be posted but copies made from Copyrighted materials may not be posted. At times I must buy 50 or 100 of an item I need 4 of and will have the rest for ever. I would hope people post things they have excess of and are willing to share. When you sell an item, post that it is sold and no longer available. If You need a posting removed write me David. Two or three times per year I will delete closed or excessively old items. Please include your state for items that are not easy to ship.

Guidelines for Tips and Links The Tips and Links section is to provide useful information to members. Individual tips, techniques, fixtures, or helpful items can be added to the Tips list. Please provide all pictures or drawings along with the complete text for the tip. Review the existing tips to see what is typical. If you have a collection of tips a separate tip page will be set up. Links are intended for publications and clubs that include model engines. This is not a collection of links to businesses. Should you provide a tip, then a link can be provided to your web site personal or business. |
