Doug Kelly built the first Snow Engine model & then drew plans & put them in HSM magazine.
The Snow Engine is modeled after the big ones that were used in the Pa oil fields to pump natural gas with a big compressor mounted on them. There is a 600 HP Snow Engine at The Rolag Mn steam show that is running at show time.
Here is another picture of my Snow. It maybe shows more detail.
It has 2 cylinders that fire on both sides of the piston so it has four spark plugs.
