Upshur Farm Engine

This is my first I.C. engine It is an Upshur farm engine from Strictly
IC.
The plans didn't have the latch for the hit and miss so I figured out
how they worked and added it myself.
I didn't want to stray too far from the plans. I quickly learned to
get the engine running well without the latch , it can cause problems.
I took the engine to a tractor show last week and the engine ran for
about 5 hours. Only the homemade points gave me any trouble. they are
made from brass and stainless for the contacts. A little cleaning and
they were fine.
