Crest 4 cycle vertical
A few weeks ago I visited a museum in Savannah GA and saw a Crestmobile car from 1902. It has a air cooled single cylinder 4 cycle engine that called for me to try to model it. Searching on line I got a few specifications and some dimensions so I have started the first sketches and believe a 1/3 scale model will be very similar to the 0.700 vertical I am working on now. It has a cam drive exhaust valve and an atmospheric intake valve. This one has the spark pug in the head but the 1091 version has the plug with the valves. The leather strap is a pull cord to start the engine.
