One Cylinder vertical with Overhead Cam, 1.0 bore X 1.0 stroke 12/4/2006
The brass engine is the same as the aluminum vari-compression engine that is in the single cylinder vert. section.....It is a 1" bore X 1" stroke, MJN ignition, electric fan cooled, timing belt driven over head cam....And the "squish" area of the engine can be adjusted from aprox. .437" down to about .045", by just a simple mechanical adjustment..........Members can view the First ( aluminum ) version of the engine and parts in the vert. single section of the gallery

12/18/2006 Some pictures of the brass vert. engine.

I hope to have the engine finished in time for Cabin Fever..Still need to do a "lot" of detail work yet.......And as you all know...."the devil is in the details".....Plus a lot of time.......The engine is "fitting up" real well, and I am hoping for a good start up..........
1/8/2007 The engine is getting closer.......
