Single cylinder double acting horizonal
steam engine. 1/4" bore X 1/4" stroke.
I finished this engine in late 2002. It
runs about 700rpm when I blow into the intake pipe. I like carrying it
around the engine shows and pulling out of my shirt pocket to show it.
A friend talks so much about it that I'm making one for him as a
present, and three more. I find it almost as easy to set up a holding
fixture for most of the parts and make multiples. The one picture shows
the setup for profiling the cylinders on the 12 rotary table.
