This is the odds and ends hit and
miss engine as designed by Philip Duclos. This is the first
internal combustion engine I have attempted. The engine was
completed early in 2005. The ignition by a set of points
operated from the cam shown in the original design. The engine
runs very well, although it was a bit problematic at first. I
had trouble keeping the engine running once it had fired. The
solution was the extension tube on the air intake. This give a
little more suction on the fuel.
