Quarter Scale Gade “C”
Single Cylinder, 4 cycle, Bore 7/8”, Stroke 1-1/4”, Flywheel Hit-n-Miss Engine. Engine was built during the summer of 2005 and first ran in October of 2005.
The engine was built from the very detailed Casting Kit of “Morrison and Marvin Engine Works” and is a quarter scale model of the 1912 Gade Model “C”. The original engines were built in Iowa Falls, Iowa. The engine is a “Uniflow” design which ports the exhaust at the end of the power stroke as well as the conventional cam driven exhaust valve.
