Atkinson Cycle
This is based on Vince Gingery's book "Building the Atkinson Cycle" and is my latest project built this year (2009). Somewhat easier to build then the Differential but still requires careful layout of the linkages. 1 5/16" bore, 1/2" compression stroke and 1" power stroke. O-ring on the piston and running on propane. This is a nice visual engine and runs sweet. The flywheel was a 10 pound gym weight and turned out to be non-malleable cast iron - ugh.
